Simply by signing in through their Facebook accounts, users can find ways to volunteer in their local areas, make calls into battleground states, access exclusive news and multimedia from the RNC, find and create local political events, and engage with activists across the country. move to the general election. Sen John McCain (R-AZ), the GOP
presidential nominee in 2008, also addressed the conference.
Around 40 of the RNC’s 50 state GOP chairmen, along with GOP officials, activists and political professionals, were at the meeting.

The party organization, which has the mammoth task of turning out Republican voters in every battleground state this November, is preparing to launch a new Facebook tool that lets users share news, talking points and the latest updates about the presidential campaign with their friends. Arrangements Chairman, Volunteer SubcommitteeThe volunteer registration process is explained in detail on the 2012 Tampa Bay Host Committee website:
www.2012Tampa.com/get-involved. As of today, over 2,000 volunteers have registered and well over 24% of shifts have been filled. The attached Volunteer Registration form outlines the step by step process for volunteer registration. I have registered and found it easy to do so.
At the time of registration, all volunteers will select one volunteer role and one volunteer orientation session. All selected volunteers will be issued an official uniform to wear during their volunteer service. The different volunteer types are: airport greeters, event way-finders, distribution center assistants, hotel greeters, event set-up crew and office administration assistants. All volunteers must be 18 years of age by June 2012. All volunteers must agree to a background check, and no credentials or tickets will be made available to volunteers. Each volunteer is responsible for his/her own travel related costs and expenses.

at the GA Federation of Republican Women's Board Meeting on Feb. 24, 2012, in Alpharetta, GALinda Herren, Georgia National Committeewoman to RNC, gave a brief report on her recent trip to Taiwan with nine other members of the RNC. The Taiwanese government paid all of their expenses and showed their support and admiration for the RNC.

The Republican National Committee will report raising $11.3 million in February, a committee spokeswoman tells us, leaving the party in good financial position once they actually nominate a presidential candidate.The RNC had $26.5 million in the bank at the end of the month, and they will file reports with the Federal Election Commission showing
less than $11 million owed to creditors. Major donors, who largely abandoned the party over the last few turbulent years, are coming
